Friend Posts

Forgot Password

When your friends post their daily photos, you can find them on the Posts screen, with the most recent post at the top. However, you will only be able to see their posts if you've shared your own post for that day, otherwise your friend's post will be displayed as locked (see above left). This is to encourage you to share your own post with your friends.

Hint

If you posted yesterday but not yet today, you may be able to see some friend posts (i.e., those from yesterday that you already unlocked) but not others (i.e., those from today you haven't unlocked yet).

Once you've added your post, you can see all friend posts from that day (and earlier). You can also interact with the posts, such as:

  • Add reactions by tapping the white emoji icon in the bottom-right corner.
  • Add one or more comments by tapping the "Add comment" button beneath the photo.
  • Access the ⋯ menu in the top-right corner of each post which you can use, for example, to access that friend's profile.
  • Pinch-zoom the main image to see more details
  • Tap the selfie image to switch it between the main image and the inset image (Note that you cannot change the corner location of a friend's selfie: only they can do that)

Friend posts will disappear from the Posts screen 24 hours after they were posted. However, you can still access a selection of recent posts from a friend by viewing their profile.

Privacy Note

To better protect your privacy, Shutter Clique will not allow other users to save your photos to their devices. So there is no "Save to Photos" option on the friend post menu. If a friend wants to get one of your photos, they can always ask you directly outside of the app.
