As a private social network, Shutter Clique is focused on protecting your privacy and personal information as well as giving you full control over your data. We do this in a number of ways:

1. We don't sell your personal information to any third parties, advertisers, or sponsors
2. All accounts must verify their email address before connecting with other users
3. Your posts are only shared with the friends you specifically connect to and are never made public
4. We don't provide a way to search for other users so nobody can connect with you unless they already know your contact information
5. We restrict any location information for your posts to a city name and don't store any precise details like a lat / long coordinate
6. If you allow location information to be added to your posts, we still let you remove it later if you decide
7. You can save any of your photos to your device's Photos app with no corporate branding added to the images
8. You can delete any of your data at any time, including deleting your account and all associated data
9. All personal information is transferred over encrypted channels
